Lluosogrwydd / Multiplicity

A Documentary on Identity, Belonging & Creative Expression
Multiplicity is a six-month mentorship and exhibition project designed to support artists of colour in Wales as they explore themes of identity, belonging, and creative expression. Led by artist Jasmine Violet and curated by Ffion Rhys, the project is part of the Perspective(s) Initiative, a collaboration between Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Arts Council of Wales, and Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales.

My Role as Director & Filmmaker
As the Director and Filmmaker of Multiplicity, I set out to capture the heart of this transformative project. This 45-minute documentary brings to life the journeys of participating artists, the creative mentorship process, and the final exhibition.
Documented workshops, artistic development, and personal reflections, highlighting themes of identity and belonging.
Worked closely with project leads, curators, and mentors to authentically represent the project's vision.
Edited and structured the documentary for exhibition at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, making it a core part of the Multiplicity showcase.
This film not only shares the personal and artistic journeys of the artists but also challenges traditional narratives in the arts, amplifying diverse voices and perspectives in Wales.
